We serve the City of Greeley by treating and distributing nearly 9 billion gallons of water per year. We have over 500 miles of pipeline, two drinking water plants, a wastewater treatment plant, three treated water reservoirs, six raw water reservoirs, and a variety of pumping stations. More about the water and sewer systems, as well as our water supply and planning, is on our Greeley water page.
We are continuously engaged in strenuous and independent oversight of the department's strategic direction, budget, and operations. Find more information, including agendas and minutes, on the Greeley Water and Sewer Board page.
We have a mandatory watering schedule. All Greeley water users must follow the schedule and refrain from watering between noon and 5 p.m. We allow 3 days per week to water, but we encourage you to only water once or twice a week in the spring and fall when possible.
See our watering restriction flyer in English and en Espanol.
Water waste of any kind is subject to fines. Full watering details, as well as information regarding new lawns, are available on our watering restrictions page.
There are many regulations that must be followed in order to develop property within the City of Greeley. Find information and resources on developing properties in Greeley on our development page.
