Wednesday, April 30

Dia de los ninos/Dia de los Libros (Day of the child/day of the Book)

5 - 7:30 pm at Lincoln Park Library, 919 7th Street, suite 100). 

Storytimes, crafts and the Orgullo Latino Dance Company will be

performing.  Free!

 

Friday, May 2

Film Night showing “La Quinceañera” (In Spanish with English subtitles),

6:30 pm at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Avenue. Popcorn, soda

and coffee provided. Free!

 


Opening reception for the Cinco de Mayo Fine Art Exhibit.
Tointon Gallery for the Visual Arts, Downtown Recreation Center,
651 10th Ave. , 5-7 p.m. Enjoy delicious Mexican food by Qdoba and
entertainment by Trio Los Pumas! FREE! Show runs April 18–May 18.

 

First Friday event at the Greeley History Museum, 5-7 p.m. Hispanic
"Many Cultures" exhibit, hands-on activities for kids and refreshments.

All events in the Island Grove Event Center, 521 North 15th Avenue ,
unless otherwise noted.

 

 

Children's Activities

11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) Carnival games, piñata parties, inflatable games and Kiddie Train rides around the park, arts & crafts with the Mountain Prairie Girl Scouts from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and a petting zoo from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Look for Timbalin the Clown and his balloon artist assistant Katie strolling through the Fiesta from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Culinary Area & Mercado

11:00 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Food vendors will serve their delicious specialties in the food court while Mercado vendors sell jewelry, woodworking, clothing, toys and ceramics.  There will also be local businesses and non-profit organizations on hand offering information and services.

Fiesta Grande Entertainment

Performances of music and dance will be showcased throughout the day including festive Mexican folk dancing in vibrant costumes and ranging from traditional tejano to sizzling salsa…Dancing is encouraged!
