Planning

Our Planning Division serves as a liaison between the city and other local, state, and federal entities.  It administers the zoning map and ordinance, reviews development proposals, develops long-range plans, and serves as staff to the Planning Commission.  If you have any questions or feedback, please use the comment box at the bottom of the page.

Current Planning

Current planners partner with other City staff to review proposals for development of all sizes and complexity in residential, commercial and industrial areas.

   Planning Commission

Seven volunteers meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays every month to discuss city development issues.                            

 

Long-Range Planning

Comprehensive, long-range, and neighborhood planners analyze community needs and assist in crafting visions, policies and regulations designed to address them.

  2060 Comprehensive Plan

City staff and a committee of over 40 volunteers worked for seven months to develop a master plan for Greeley's future.
