HALLOWEN CARNIVAL
TRICK OR TREAT STREET

Keep the little onew out of the cold this year! The City of Greeley is offering a FREE Halloween Treat Street/Carnival. Carnival will feature candy booths and games for youth. A costume contest with prizes will be held for the following age groups: 0-3 years, 4-7 years and 8-12 years.

HOLIDAY ICE SHOWCASE
Saturday, November 28, 2009 • 7-8pm

After the tree lighting ceremony at Lincoln Park, come see the Ice Haus Skate School classes and Mountain View Skating Club perform special numbers for your holiday family entertainment.

Admission $3, partial proceeds go to the Youth Assistance Fund - get $1 off if you also purchase admission to the Historic Skate following the show.

Come join the Greeley Ice Haus once again as they recreate Lincoln Park and bring it inside the Ice Haus! Help us remember yesteryear and come skate on the indoor “pond.” Free hot chocolate will be served!

Lighting Contest • Guess the Lights Contest

Lighting Contest 2009

Homes and businesses - It's time to decorate! Fill out a 2009 Registration Form to enter this year's contest. Print out the form, then mail, fax or deliver your form back to the Greeley Recreation Center (651 10th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631) or the Greeley Convention and Visitor's Bureau (902 7th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631). Entries must be received by November 27, 2009 at 5pm. Judging will take place on the evening of December 7, 2009 from 5:30-11:30pm. Terrific prizes will be given to winners in a variety of categories. So don't wait – decorate! Participation in the contest is absolutely FREE. To view the 2008 Lighting Tour click here.

2009 Guess The Lights Contest

It's the third year of decorating Lincoln Park and the number of individual lights illuminating the park continues to grow. Give it a shot! Guess the number of lights in Lincoln Park located in Historic Downtown Greeley. The person guessing the closest number of individual lights, not going over the correct amount, will be the winner! Ties will be decided by a drawing. Winner will recieve a prize! Entry deadline is December 11, 2009 at 5pm. Print out the 2009 Registration Form. Send completed entry forms to the Greeley Convention and Visitor's Bureau, 902 7th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. Winners will be announced on December 15, 2009. Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Downtown Development Authority employees, family members and volunteers including GLTN committee members are not eligible to win. The Greeley Lights the Nights Committee has already established the count for judging purposes.
