The Greeley Recreation Center has some unique features!


Racquetball Courts

The Greeley Recreation Center (GRC) has two racquetball courts. Reservations can be made every hour on the hour,
at least 2 weeks in advance by calling (970) 350-9400.

Fee is $4/adults and $3/youth.
We even rent racquets at $2 each and balls for $1 each if equipment is needed.







The Rock

The GRC has a state-of-the-art Climging Wall.
Classes and programs are offered throughout the week. Please call the GRC Front Desk (970) 350-9400
for available climbing dates and times.

Here's just a few of the climbing activities we offer:

Friday Night Youth Climbing Club
Fridays 6-8pm
Enjoy a Friday evening climb with one of our energetic staff. This is not a certificate class, but a chance to learn some of the basics or improve your manuevers.

Winter Dates — December 4 & 18, January 8 & 22 and February 5 & 19


Pizza & Family Climbing
The whole family can learn the basic skills of climbing together and experience some bonding time. These two hour activities are scheduled through the Recreation Program Supervisor, call (970) 350-9422 for more information.


Womens Night at the Rock
6-8pm
These one-nighters are for women only. Our female instructors will provide a good time on the wall and challenge you beyond your empectations.

Swimming Pool

The Rec Center has a regulation size swimming pool that is home to the Greeley Recreation Swim & Dive Club.
It has a Diving Well & Pool that makes it a perfect place for practice and meets.
This pool is usually where all District 6 Swim Meets take place.

Open Swim
*Each child 5 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-3pm
Saturday 1-3pm

Family Swim
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8-11am
*Ages 15 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult.

Lap Swim
Monday-Friday 6am-1pm & 5:30-7pm
Saturday 9am-1pm
* Ages 16 & above. Share lanes during busy hours or swimming lessons.

The Diving Well & Pool may be closed during Open or Lap Swim due to District 6 needs, special events, classes or programs. Call (970) 350-9400 to check schedule.







Basketball Court & Auxiliary Gym

Want to play a little hoops during the day? This is a perfect place to pick up a game!
The GRC has a large gymnasium and an auxiliary gym for daily & members use.

All Ages $1.50
*Between the hours of 11:30am-1pm, Monday-Friday. Otherwise, general admission fee applies.







Weight Room

The Weight Room has enough machines to keep your workout busy!
Come before or after work or during your lunch hour. The price is right!

Dance Studios & Fitness Rooms

The Greeley Recreation Center also has two dance studios and two Fitness Rooms for
fitness classes, tumbling and martial arts.

We offer a variety of classical dance classes for youth and adults, Tumbllenium for kids and other assorted classes for your enjoyment. Check out what's coming up this fall online.







Archery Range



The Greeley Archers is a club that was established in 1976. They are members of the National Field Archers Association and Colorado Bow Hunters Association. With two ranges (indoor facility at the Greeley Recreation Center and outdoor at Hwy 85 & 42nd Street in Greeley) they have everything you need.

The club is family oriented and offers a wide range of archery
opportunities and classes that include:

  • Youth Archery Lessons (Session I Oct 10-31, Session II Nov 14-Dec 12)
  • Target Leagues
  • Bow Hunter Leagues
  • 3-D Tournaments
  • Bow Hunters Education

Pistol Range

The GRC Indoor Rane is a rifle range supervised by certified instructors affiliated with the Columbine Rifle and Pistol Club.
No drop-in use is allowed without supervision by a Range Officer.
All activities are run on an individual basis and all patrons are required to register
at the Greeley Recreation Center Front Desk prior to entering into the range.



The Columbine Pistol Club offers the following classes and programs at the Greeley Rec Center:
  • Greeley Junior Shooting Club
  • Beginning Pistol Classes
  • Columbine Bull's Eye Pistol Marksmanship
