Subject: All Neighborhoods Fall Dinner & Workshop Offered
 
The City invites Greeley residents to attend a simple supper and workshop that features topics to help make neighborhood life great. The Neighborhood Workshop is set for Wednesday, October 2nd from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Greeley Recreation Center at 651 10th Avenue. 
 
Workshop topics include:
- Neighborhood Watch:  setting up, keeping them going
- Neighborhood Action:  how to meet up, clean up, fix up, pay for, and party
- Saving Water: water-saving tips all year long (bring in an old showerhead to trade for a new one)
- Art of Volunteering:  how to recruit, how to lend a hand, where you can help
- Best-ever and Worst-ever Neighbors:  from great to grumpy; how to cope
- Cautions:  guarding against fraud and identity theft
- Make Today Count:  promoting healthy neighborhoods
- Get a Move On:  learn about and join the growing Greeley bike movement
 
Participants will also get a preview about upcoming holiday celebrations.   The event is free but seating is limited.  For more information, or to pre-register, call 350-9774 or email greta.steinmetz@greeleygov.com.  Meal reservations are needed by September 27th.
