Group Rates and more information
ToursPlus School groups may wish to add activities to the regular tour. Ask us about old-fashioned games, woodstove baking, blacksmithing, printing press, pioneer remedies or Victorian beauty products. Available at a small extra charge.
- Groups of 10 or more who schedule in advance and pay as one unit will receive reduced rates and a guided tour.
- Adult group rates (ages 19 and over) are $4 per person. Youth groups (ages 3-18) are $2 per student and $2 per chaperone. One chaperone is admitted free with every 10 children and one teacher free per classroom.
- Guided tours last approximately an hour and a half.
- Schools that tour and want their students to have a chance to shop for souvenirs in Selma's Store should allow extra time for that.
- Most of the buildings at the Village are handicapped accessible. A short orientation video is available for viewing in the Shaw House. It shows the upstairs of the Stevens House and fire station which are not accessible.
- A wheelchair is available for use
- There are shaded park benches scattered throughout the site.
- You may bring a picnic with you.
- There is ample free parking for cars and buses.

- Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to make reservations and receive a guided tour. You'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable member of the interpretive staff who can add to the information in the text panels and answer questions.
- Group tours are $2 per person for children 3-18; adult groups are $4 per person.

- The first floor of the home, containing the front parlor, dining room and kitchen, is handicap-accessible. The second floor has three bedrooms. A short video of the upstairs area is available for visitors who cannot climb the stairs.
