Preserving the legacy of a pioneer farm and
the Union Colony roots of the families who lived here. |
| The Plumb Farm Learning Center was donated to the City of Greeley in 1997 by C.O. Plumb and his family. The farm is a memorial to the foresight and determination of his Union
Colony grandparents and serves as an agricultural learning center for educating the younger
generations about Greeley's rich agricultural heritage. The Plumb Farm is listed
on the national Register of Historic Places and
is a Colorado Centennial Farm.

Camps |
Special Events |
In the summer we offer a variety of week-long children's camps in a fun hands-on environment. All camps
use the grounds, gardens, buildings and historic elements of the
site, such as the 100-year-old flood irrigation system. Farm animals
are present several weeks each year to add to the children's
experience of early farm life. They also learn more about gardening,
cooking and household chores and agriculture of the area. Some of
the classes we have offered include:
- Kids Carpentry
- Short Chefs
- ArtFarm
Download a camps flyer and an online class registration form. |
The farm hosts the following special
