Species Recommended for Right-of-Way Tree Planting
This listing of trees is intended as a guide for new plantings upon street rights-of-way or parkways. Tree species other than listed herein must be specifically authorized for planting by the planting permit.
Written permits, obtainable from the Community Development Department, are required before planting any plant materials other than lawn upon any public rights-of-way or "parkways" within the city limits of Greeley.
- For landscaping individual residential properties the permit cost is $10.00.
- For landscaping commercial/development properties the permit will be issued at a rate of $50.00 per hour for review of landscape plans with a minimum charge of $50.00.
