Arts Picnic, held the last weekend in July,
draws thousands to historic Lincoln Park every
year. Festival attendees shop from over 175
artists’ booths selling everything from pottery
and paintings, baskets to Bonsai and gourmet
food to garden art! Folks can take a break in
the beer garden or enjoy delectable delights
from the 20 food vendors in the Culinary Area.
Colorado performers entertain on two stages
throughout the weekend while clowns, magicians
and balloon artists rove through the park. The
kids’ Hands-on Area keeps the little-ones busy
with projects that encourage creativity and
excite the imagination. The Arts Picnic is truly
a "feast of fun for everyone!"

Since Neighborhood Night’s creation in 1996, one of Greeley’s most fun (and free!) summertime rituals is for folks to head to beautiful parks throughout the community, stake out a patch of grass with their lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a wonderful movie shot on an inflatable screen. These alfresco theaters bring back memories of drive-ins that baby boomers grew up with gathering people from all walks of life. So why spend another Friday night in front of the TV when you can be outside enjoying a balmy Colorado evening with friends and family watching a favorite flick under the stars?

Each year, the Union Colony Civic Center is
transformed into a winter wonderland of
beautifully decorated trees and wreaths when it
plays host to the annual Festival of Trees.
While strolling through magnificent yuletide
displays, patrons are serenaded by the joyous
sounds of Christmas choirs and merry musicians.
Activities also include visits from St. Nick and
Mrs. Claus, Kindercare's Kids' Craft Corner,
door prize drawings, face painters, antique
fire-truck rides, gingerbread house decorating
demonstrations, horse and carriage rides and a
silent auction. Additional festival events
include The Silver Bells Socials, Snowflakes &
Satin Fashion Show and Luncheon, The Teddy Bear
Bash and the Whoville Holiday "Seussabration!"
All proceeds benefit the Union Colony Civic
Center and the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra.

with the sights and sounds of this wondrous time
of year!
