Over 150 juried artists and crafters traveling to Greeley from as far away as Montana and as close as 15th Avenue sell an assortment of wares and fares ranging from watercolors, weavings and whirligigs to pottery, patio furniture and painted flower pots. Since we all know shopping works up an appetite, you can take a break to sample some of the hearty fare from the food court including burritos, bratwurst, fajitas and funnel cakes or a frosty cold one in the beer garden. Two of the three Arts Picnic stages will feature more than 25 of the best Colorado entertainers performing everything from classical to Caribbean and rhythm and blues to rock ’n roll. Parents can find entertainment just for the very young festival-goers on a third stage set up in the Children’s Hands-On Area. In addition to enjoying live entertainment, little ones can create art and craft projects that inspire creativity and excite the imagination. Who knows...you may be living with a “Picasso”! As well as stage performers, look for magicians and balloon artists roving through the park delighting both young and old and make a point to venture across the street to the 7th Street Plaza where you will discover the Fine Art of Living Area! There is something for the whole family at the Arts Picnic, so mark your calendar for July 26 and 27 in historic downtown Lincoln Park…It’s a feast of fun for everyone!
